Puerto Morelos

Puerto Morelos is a small fishing village located on the Yucatán Peninsula, about halfway between Playa del Carmen and Cancún. The city is known for its beautiful beaches, including Puerto Morelos Beach, which is located close to the Puerto Morelos reef. The beach is also a popular snorkeling and scuba diving destination. As it is home to the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the second largest barrier reef in the world. This place is a relatively quiet and laid-back town, compared to nearby Playa del Carmen or Cancún. However, there are a few bars and restaurants, as well as a number of small shops selling souvenirs and local handicrafts. The city is an ideal place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the Yucatán Peninsula.
