          Celorico da Beira is a small town in the Guarda District of northeastern Portugal, located in the Beira Interior region. Known for its medieval castle ruins perched on a hilltop and historic stone architecture, the town serves as a cultural and culinary center.           Celorico da Beira is a municipality in the Guarda district of north-central Portugal, located in the Beira Interior Norte subregion at approximately 730 metres above sea level on the eastern foothills of Serra da Estrela. The town sits along the A25 motorway corridor and the Beira Alta railway line, placing it within reach of Guarda (30 km east), Coimbra (90 km west), and the Serra da Estrela Natural Park. It is internationally recognized as the principal centre for the Feira do Queijo da Serra da Estrela and serves as a gateway to the historic villages of the broader Beiras plateau.
