More to know about Praça do Giraldo
Praça do Giraldo is the main square in the city of Évora. This place has been witness to important moments in the history of Portugal. It was here that King João III received the Cortes in 1527. In this square, also called "the Terreiro do Paço", there were bullfights and other public entertainments.
Today, the Praça do Giraldo is still a popular gathering place for locals and tourists alike.
