On this tour we travel through the Alentejo , the largest region in Portugal, made up of golden plains, olive trees and cork oaks. Discovering the Alentejo is walking along almost deserted roads in perfect harmony with nature. We will visit Monsaraz , an old medieval walled village, houses painted in white and with cobbled floors on a hill with a fantastic view of the largest artificial lake in Europe, the Alqueva .

Continuing our tour we will arrive at the capital of Alentejo, Ébora as it used to be and Évora today. Heritage of Humanity , it is known as the museum city, with a walled center and squares where you can breathe a history with more than 2000 years. We will visit the Capela dos Ossos , whose walls are covered with bones of skulls and other human bones, Praça do Giraldo, considered the central square of the city, the majestic Temple of Diana , built in the 1st century AD in the main square of Évora , this temple It is the monument that uniquely represents the vestiges of Roman civilization in Portugal. We will also have time to visit a Cork Factory where you can discover the process of transforming raw cork into final products that are sold throughout Portugal and in various places around the world. Although cork stoppers are the most familiar object, many other things are made of cork (shoes, bags, craft objects, among others). The main cork production center is Alentejo , where 72% of the total production is concentrated.
