We start our escape with a wine tasting at the family owned Paterianakis Winery in the heartland of Heraklion's wine making region. The winery is run by the Paterianakis sisters and they can be spotted around the premises making wonderful wines! Your private wine guide will walk you through the tasting, and very often the wine makers introduce the wines to their guests.
Visit the amazing Titakis winery, where you will learn everything about the Cretan grapes in the showroom vineyard, understand the process of winemaking in the Concrete Village of tanks, and discover the history of this family-owned winery. You will then indulge in a 5-courses meal of traditionnal Cretan dishes proposed especially to match the 5 wines served.
