PADI Open Water Diver

During confined water dives, you learn and practice diving skills in a pool or water with conditions similar to those in a pool.
You will enjoy doing one or more mini-dives, which take you through the same steps that you follow when doing open water dives.

To complete the training, apply and demonstrate what you have learned during four Open Water Dives at a local dive site.
Obtaining a PADI Open Water Diver certification shows that you have met the course requirements.

Dive centers require proof of certification before renting diving equipment, filling scuba cylinders or booking diving excursions.
After completing the PADI Open Water Diver course, you’ll have the ability to dive in all conditions up to 18 meters.
