Kugelhorn – guided climbing tour

Kuglhorn via the east ridge has more climbing than Stetind and is an airy and steep egg. The approach to Kuglhorn goes over the Verdensvaet; a 2 km long counterslope of solid granite. Just the trip over Verdensvaet is a great experience. We spend about 2 hours on the approach to where the climb starts.

The climb up the ridge is airy on all sides. On the right side you have the mighty drop down the north wall. The last part of the tour sneaks under and to the left of the overhanging dome at the top of Kuglhorn.

Kuglhorn is an outsider and neighbor to the better-known Stetind. The trip to Kuglhorn via the east ridge has very exposed and airy climbing. You do not climb this tour with a fear of heights. On the approach up, we cross the Verdensvaet; a 2 km long floor of granite.

  • We keep all necessary climbing equipment; ropes, belays, climbing harnesses and helmets.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

What do I need to bring?

  • You dress for a trip in the high mountains in northern Norway adapted to the weather.
  • Wind and waterproof outerwear. Sweater or fleece, long underwear, hat and gloves in cool weather.
  • Mountain boots or, preferably, hiking boots are good. Sneakers are not suitable; soft sole is not suitable for climbing.
  • Backpack (30 – 40 litres) with some free space for some of our climbing equipment.
  • Food and drink. Water can be filled along the way.
  • If you have long hair; bring a hair tie (so you don't have to get it stuck during abseiling). Remember to cut long nails.
  • Ask us if you need advice on clothing and equipment for the trip.

Get inside the beautiful Benagil cave! The most famous natural attraction of the golden Algarve coast, the Benagil sea cave is a sight to be seen.
The only way to get in there is by water, and a guided kayak tour is the best choice!

Meet your guide to receive instructions. Your kayak tour to the Benagil cave will start at the Benagil beach. You will be accompanied by a lifeguard guide with much experience for your safety.
After a briefing, prepare to get on the kayaks. The kayaks are put and removed from the water by the guides. Then, follow the kayaks from Benagil beach to the famous Marinha beach and its amazing arches.

On the way back we will visit the inside of the famous Benagil cave, where you can explore, take photos and relax.

The visit lasts 2 hours but in reality only paddles for 45 to 60 minutes, making a stop of 30 minutes in the Benagil Cave, always accompanied by an expert guide who will help you whenever necessary.
