- Our journey starts when I pick you up in Reykjavik at 08:00 with my 4×4 vehicle. The road trip lasts up to 2 ½ hours during which you can enjoy the astonishing view of the Icelandic small villages, waterfalls and landscapes.
- Once we arrive at the parking lot of Sólheimajökull glacier we will walk for 20 minutes to the spectacular glacier's tongue where we'll do a safety briefing instruction and help you gear up. We provide all necessary equipment.
- Once we arrive at the glacier, we will cross crevasses and moulins until we find a nice spot to start our climbing. We will go over the climbing techniques so you can get the best out of the experience. We can explore different locations during the day so you have the opportunity to try out different levels of difficulty.
- After 3 hours approximately on the ice we will head back to the parking lot full of great memories and photos and we will enjoy a warm cup of coffee and Icelandic snacks.
- After that, you will head back to Reykjavík. It is a long drive of 2 1/2 hours but you do not need to worry about that. You can relax and get cosy in our warm and comfortable jeep and our guide will drop you right in front of your accommodation.
