What Will You Do

Itinerary

- We will pick you up from your accommodation with our 4x4 vehicle. Then our departure from Reykjavik will officially begin! It takes around 2 hours to arrive at the first attraction.

- Our first stop will be the amazing Seljalandfoss waterfall. Seljalandsfoss is one of the most breath-taking waterfalls in South Iceland with a whooping 196 ft (60 m) cascade. The waterfall is loved by travelers because you can actually walk behind it!

- After that, we will head to the gigantic Skógafoss waterfall with a width of 25 meters (82 feet) and a drop of 60m (200 ft). After a few meters of walking, you will be at the foot of the imposing waterfall, whose noise is deafening. Expect to be soaked from head to toe if you venture too close!

Also, if you want you can climb the 370 steps on your own pace, to the top of Skogafoss waterfall and you will be rewarded with an awe-inspiring view out over south Iceland’s coastline.

- Next, after just 20' of driving you will arrive to the most adventurous part of our trip, to our lovely glacier! Once we arrive there, we will take a 20-min walk from the parking area to the spectacular glacier's tongue where we'll do a safety briefing instruction and help you gear up. We provide all necessary equipment.

On the glacier a beautiful walking exploration will begin. The hike is relatively easy and can be done by almost anybody. Αfter exploring the glacier for some time we will find a good spot to start our ice climbing session.

I will go over the climbing techniques so you can enjoy it. The climb will be customized to your skills to get the most fun out of it. No experience required.

- After a 35-min drive you will arrive to Reynisfjara/Black beach! That is a beach like no other. Storm grey organ-shaped basalt columns, jet black volcanic sand, sea stacks, and basalt caves are just some of the features to be found at Reynisfjara. Watch out for the waves and take awesome photos!

- After that, you will head back to Reykjavík. It is a long drive of 2 1/2 hours but you do not need to worry about that, our guide takes care of you. You can relax and get cosy in our warm and comfortable jeep. He will drop you right in front of your accommodation.
