Day 1. Arrive in San Jose: Our Amazing Costa Rica Expedition family vacation package start with your arrival to the International Airport Juan Santamaria. Upon arrival at the San Jose airport, you will be met by one of our representatives how will explain your itinerary, answer any questions and provide you with a package of vouchers and information about your trip. Transfer to Hotel Aurola and free time at leisure.
Day 2. Private Tour Arenal Volcano, Fortuna Waterfall & Baldi Hot Springs (B, L): Your breath-taking Costa Rica Vacation & adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel and a relaxing private drive through the wonderful Costa Rican countryside on an air-conditioned transportation and recent model deluxe vehicle or minibus. Your guide will point out many sights of interest including coffee plantations, sugar cane and citrus plantations, diverse fruit stands and rural farming communities. You will be heading Fortuna Town and Arenal Volcano, about 2 hours’ drive from San Jose. Once in Fortuna you will visit Fortuna Waterfall.
Located in the northern lowlands of Costa Rica, the impressive Arenal Volcano is a National Park that attracts thousands and thousands of tourists due to its beauty and recent past volcanic activity. Back in the 80´s the volcano was very active, but now has reduced its activity and we could say that it has entered a period of calm. However, the beauty of the Volcano and surroundings are just spectacular. Once in La Fortuna Town, a sightseeing tour will show you the highlights of the area and its rich diversity of tourist attractions, ecosystems, the lake, culture, customs & traditions of this emblematic town of Costa Rica.
The La Fortuna Waterfall is one of the best things to see when you come to the Arenal Area! You will love the hike down to this waterfall near the town of La Fortuna because you can see all the natural beauty of the rain forest as well as the birds and wildlife that live there. Once you arrive to the La Fortuna Waterfall, prepare to be blown away by the beauty of this impressive waterfall near the Arenal Volcano! You will also be able to swim and take amazing photos! This popular attraction on TripAdvisor’s Top Things to do in La Fortuna is great for the whole family.
Later, you will relax in one of the best thermal water places in the area: Baldi Hot Springs. At Baldi Hot Springs you will find an endless dreamed stay, where the natural environment, colorful natural gardens, therapeutic waters, pure air and our care combine on a perfect state; the dream came true. The unique frame where your experience turns into the most unforgettable one. In here you will enjoy multiple thermal pools, a giant stem room, luxury pool bars, Giant waterslides, relaxing areas and much more.
Upon arrival to Baldi Hot Springs, enjoy a delicious Buffet Lunch before to jump into the Thermal Pools. Lockers and Towels are included in our tours. At this paradise you will stay till 4:00 PM. After the hot springs transfer to Hotel Arenal Volcano Inn or similar in Fortuna Town. Dinner on your own.
Day 3. Free Style Day in La Fortuna (B) Customize your vacation with the included adventure of your choice. Please select one. This option will be added to your final itinerary. Note: Some options are half day, others full day with lunch included.
Afternoon: Free time.
Day 4. Arenal to Tamarindo Beach (B): Breakfast at your hotel and transfer to the beautiful Tamarindo Beach on the Pacific Coast. Arriving at Tamarindo Diria Hotel by middle afternoon, you will have the chance to enjoy the beauty of the surroundings and relax in the swimming pool or the beach. Free evening.
Day 5. Free Style Day in Tamarindo (B): Our Costa Rica family vacations includes day tours. Customize your vacation with the included adventure of your choice. Please select one. This option will be added to your final itinerary.
Afternoon: free time. Lunch and dinner not included. Many options for meals are close to the hotel.
Day 6 Tamarindo (B): Free time.
Day 7. Tamarindo to San Jose. (B): During the morning, a great opportunity for explore the surroundings on your own and enjoy the beach. By Noon Hotel Check Out and transfer to San Jose. Upon arrival, check in at Hotel Aurola Holiday Inn
Day 8 Transfer Out(B): Transfer to the International Airport according with your schedules flight and Good bye.
