Day 1 :

Rio to Búzios – Walking Tour, Gorgeous Beaches & Nightlife

Day 1 :

Get picked up at your Rio’s hotel and drive for about 3 hours to the town of Búzios, in the east area of the state. We cross the famous Rio / Niterói bridge taking the open road passing through a beautiful region of the state.  On the way to Búzios, our knowledgable guide gives you an insight about the “Lakes Region” and what we are going to be seeing in the 2-day trip.

Day 1 :

Once we arrive at our centrally-located accommodation, we take a walking tour around the coolest touristic areas of Búzios catching sights and doing some shopping. The downtown Búzios works as a large open-air mall and goes far beyond a mere set of shop windows. The place is one of the main tourist spots in Búzios and attracts people through the day, not only for the quality of the stores, but also for the restaurants that are there.

Day 1 :

The stroll can go to Orla Bardot, where the restaurants and national and international shops by the sea makes the atmosphere even more charming getting close to studios of local artists selling unique pieces of art and antique. After the tour, have delicious typical lunch and enjoy one of the nearby beaches with crystal clear waters.

Day 1 :

After the walking tour in downtown Búzios, have a beach time at Azeda beach which is among the most beautiful views in Búzios and accessible by a cobbled street and a wooden staircase. The beach is small, charming and has a calm and colorful sea. Once back to the hotel, relax a little before catching up in the evening for a few drinks.

Once night falls, we are going to go out exploring the nightlife areas of the charming town of Búzios. The city is reputed to offer excellent options for those who want to extend the fun beyond the sand, sea and sun. The excitement in Búzios begins with the sunset, when tourists leave the beaches and go to strategic bars to have a cold beer and delicious snacks while seeing the sunset. When night comes, it's time to tour around in the main gastronomic hub in town, the “Pedras St”. It is full of live music, delicious bars and very lively people. It’s the perfect place to start the night's work. We take a table and drink, keep an eye on the neighbors and enjoy chatting in several languages. Yeah! Búzios provides a beautiful mix of Brazilians and gringos. All together makes Búzios night one of the best features of the city.

Day 1 :

1 night, there should be a comfortable accommodation in a centrally-located hotel or Inn in the town of Búzios.

Day 2 :

Arraial do Cabo: Boat Tour, beaches of Farol, Ponta do Atalaia, Gruta Azul, Forno Beach & Typical Brazilian Cuisine

Day 2 :

On our 2nd day, it’s time to shake a little bit. After breakfast, we transfer 40 min to downtown Arraial to jump on a boat and cruise up to the sea visiting Islands and beaches. The 4-hour tour explores one of the most beautiful areas of the state stopping at marvelous beaches. The average stop time for each beach is 45 min. Grab a snorkel and go for a swim, free floating dive, stand up paddle, relax in crystal clear waters, and go down to explore the beaches to be visited. This tour by water allows you to admire the wonderful landscapes. Schools of dolphins, turtles, rays and even orcas can appear in the region. So be sure to pay attention to the sea.

Day 2 :

Great star of Arraial do Cabo, Farol beach is one of the most beautiful in the entire Region and, without exaggeration, in all of Brazil. It gained fame especially for being classified as one of the most perfect beaches in the country, following criteria of water purity, sand quality and landscape. Fame spread and today Farol beach is one of the must-see tours in Arraial do Cabo.

Day 2 :

The staircase that gives access to Prainhas do Pontal do Atalaia seems to lead to paradise. From the top of the hill, what you see is a paradisiacal setting. It is difficult not to be mesmerized by the view at the top of the stairs, from where you can see the white sand, the colorful sea and the green still preserved in the neighboring Ilha do Farol. The sand is white and very thin, surrounded by rocks and green vegetation. There is a dune in the center of the beach that offers a beautiful viewpoint.

Day 2 :

The Blue Grotto is part of the boat trip that leads to Praia do Farol. The rock formation is just one of the many natural beauties on the route. The whole open sea route is beautiful, with impressive water tones. The Blue Grotto is just one of the beautiful moments, which still have the waves that break fiercely against the rocks. When traveling to the Blue Grotto, always keep your eyes open. It is not uncommon for tourists to spot dolphins. With any luck, there is even the possibility of seeing some orcas.

Day 2 :

After the boat tour, walk along the downtown Arraial next to a street full of restaurants, bars, craft shops, and much more. Here we have a lunch stop to try a delicious typical Brazilian cuisine enjoying an exciting atmosphere. Whether you choose to hunt for bargains or have a beach time relaxing bit, it is all in the area.

Day 2 :

Have a beach time at Forno Beach which is one of the main postcards of Arraial do Cabo and is no wonder. The colorful water in the cove and the strip of white sand surrounded by lush vegetation form a scenario worthy of many photos. The beach also attracts those who enjoy diving. There, it is possible to practice snorkeling and spot many turtles. There is even an oyster farm in the place. The water temperature is not among the coldest in Arraial and it will be impossible to resist a dip in the colorful sea of Praia do Forno.

Day 2 :

This wonderful adventure comes to an end, in the later afternoon we travel over to the city of Rio de Janeiro. Whether you are going to stay at a hotel in Rio or have a flight home we make sure you get to where you need to go.
