Estoril

Estoril, a world-famous resort, is a true cosmopolitan center with wonderful nightlife and all the infrastructure for a summer center – beaches, excellent hotels, golf courses, a casino, and even a motor-racing circuit.

The coastline along the Atlantic Ocean has a succession of small, rocky beaches, and the clear water is excellent for swimming. On the clifftop there are several stunningly located restaurants with a wide variety of cuisine on offer. In the town itself, there are many pavement cafés, bars, and clubs which stay open until the early hours of the morning.

Just a short distance from Lisbon, Estoril has long been a popular destination for city-dwellers wishing to escape the heat of the summer. It continues to be one of Portugal’s most fashionable resorts, and is especially popular with the jet-set and celebrities.
