The smaller of the two lakes, called Malo Jezero, or Small Lake, is located within a short walking distance from the village of Pomena. The larger lake, called Veliko Jezero, or Big Lake, is located in the center of the island and can be reached by car or by foot. Both lakes are surrounded by dense forests and are home to a variety of wildlife.

There are several hiking trails on the island that lead through the forests and offer stunning views of the lakes and the surrounding scenery. The island is also home to a number of beautiful beaches, which are perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and simply relaxing.
