Walking tour from Rialto to San Marco between history, traditions and art

It is a truly exciting walk through history and traditions conducted with passion and love by a guide born and lived in Venice for many years.

You will begin in Rialto old market area, i will show to you the famous areas of the merchants where still today is active a nice market with fish, meat, fruit and vegetables. we will see the famous Rialto bridge (16th century) and the grand canal.

The tour will continue wondering around alleys (calle) and bridges …you will see the area where Marco Polo was born and lived ….you will see a beautiful gothic church San Giovanni e Paolo, the famous libreria “acqua alta” … and after we will arrive in San Mark’s square and you will enter inside looking at the unique old mosaics.
