Turtle Island and Keri Caves

National Marine Park of Zakynthos in Kalamaki Beach

• After a convenient pickup from your hotel, head to Kalamaki beach on Zante's southern shores. Enjoy the pristine beach with soft sand and warm waters, protected by National Marine Park. See where the endangered loggerhead sea turtles nest. You may spot tiny baby turtles breaking out of their shells.

Laganas Agios Sostis Port

• Next, head to Lagana's small port, Agios Sostis, to board the glass-bottom boat. The captain starts immediately to look out for the turtles so get ready with your cameras. You will be informed when turtles are going to surface to breathe, or when they pass under the glass bottom of the boat. 

Turtle Island

• We are heading to Marathonisi, known as Turtle Island, an exotic, green, and coincidentally turtle-shaped island. Enjoy an hour on the golden sandy beach where you can swim and snorkel.

Keri Caves

• Sailing towards Keri Caves, carved by time, tides, and wind. Follow the coastline, admiring the white beaches, rock arches, forested hills, and enormous limestone cliffs that fall into the sea. Pass through the famous rock arch, Kamara. We will stop for 20 minutes here, you can swim outside some amazing caves or snorkel admiring the sea life. 

Cameo Island bridge

• Our mini cruise is finishing as we are heading back to the small port where we will have the chance to pass the famous wooden bridge of Cameo island and take some photos, and explore the small idyllic church from which this port took its name.

Aristeon Olive Oil Press Museum

• Our last stop is the Aristeon Olive Press Museum, where we will learn little things about olive trees and their products as we would enjoy a free tasting of local olives and traditional bread with different flavored extra virgin olive oils (most likely lemon, orange, and garlic). Take a sample of olive oil shampoo, soap, body cream, or face cream.
