With that in mind, our Northern Light tour enhances your chances of witnessing Iceland’s natural phenomenon. Our guides are experts when it comes to Northern Lights and together with them, we are making a decision each day before 18:00 whether the forecast is good enough for the hunt or not.
Once we are out of the city and away from the light pollution and your guide found a good spot, we will jump out of the car and prepare our cameras. Cozy chairs and blankets are on board to keep you warm while waiting for the lights. Hot chocolate, typical Icelandic liquor (Brennivin), and Icelandic “Kleina” add up to the experience. We want this experience to be as personal as it can be. Of course, your knowledgeable guide can assist you with the camera settings in case you need help. Don’t worry if you don’t have a camera, we have you covered. Our guide will take professional photos during the tour and we will give you free access to all photos the next day.
If we decide to run the tour, we truly believe there will be visible Northern Lights somewhere at some time during your tour. We have drafted our tour plan by diligently assessing available data, and we will use updated information as needed throughout the tour.
