Northern Lights are the most unique and spectacular natural phenomena on earth. It is a must see during your stay in Iceland. There is no better way to truly feel the magic of aurora than to have the whole show to yourself in the middle of Icelandic nature.

Your tour will start with pick up directly from your accommodation in Reykjavik and drive to the most private and secret locations not accessible even in a regular 4×4 car so there will be no other buses around. You can be sure you will be in the best possible locations to see the aurora. Our guides are experts in reading the weather forecast so they will know exactly where to take you to maximize your chances of experiencing this amazing phenomena.

Northern Lights are highly unpredictable and sometimes it takes time to find them but you don’t need to worry, an off road ride in our super jeep through Icelandic nature is a thrilling experience itself. During the tour you will also have a chance to learn about Icelandic culture, you will hear all about old stories and beliefs surrounding the aurora while trying traditional pastry and liquor (only for adults above 20). To make sure you will stay warm, we will bring wool blankets and hot chocolate for you to enjoy.

Please note that due to traffic restrictions in downtown Reykjavik direct pick up may not be available for groups larger than 8 passengers. Once you book your tour, we will contact you with your pick up information.

Visibility of Northern Lights is heavily dependent on weather conditions. On the day of your tour we will make a decision before 16:00 if your tour will operate or not and inform you through email.

In the event of a tour cancellation due to weather conditions, you have the option to reschedule for another day or receive a full refund for your booking.

Please keep in mind that the aurora is a natural phenomenon, and even under ideal weather conditions, sightings cannot be guaranteed. Our guides will try to find the lights but in case your tour is not successful you will be able to join our super jeep group tour free of charge. This is a lifetime guarantee so if you can’t reschedule, you can contact us before your next trip to Iceland.
