What Will You Do

Our driver and guide will take you to the famous Eiffel Tower late evening where you can enjoy the beautiful iron lady by night. When the sun sets and darkness falls over Paris, the City of Lights awakens. And so does the Eiffel Tower! It switches on its lights. It shines, it sparkles, and it can be seen from dozens of miles away. The Iron Lady puts on her most beautiful golden gown and sparks the entire world’s imagination.

Les Invalides or Hôtel National des Invalides is an extensive complex of 17th-century structures and courtyards in Paris designed for the care and housing of disabled veterans and as a place of worship. It looks amazingly beautiful by night. Parts of Les Invalides were later converted into museums and into tombs for Napoleon I and others.

Inaugurated on the occasion of the 1900 Universal Exhibition and classed as a historic monument, the Pont Alexandre III is one of the most emblematic bridges in Paris because of its architecture and location. At its four extremities are huge 17 metre-high pylons crowned with gilt bronze sculptures of winged horses representing the illustrious Arts, Sciences, Commerce and Industry. Pont Alexandre III connects the Invalides on the Left Bank to the Grand Palais and Petit Palais on the Right Bank. From the bridge you can enjoy a sweeping view of these buildings as well as the Eiffel Tower and over the Seine, which makes it a popular place for a stroll at any time of day or night.

The Paris Opéra (1860-75), designed by Charles Garnier, is one of the jewels of Napoleon III's newly reconstructed city. Frequented by Degas and the source for much of his ballet imagery, the Paris Opéra is key to understanding the somewhat perverse culture of voyeurism and spectacle among the prosperous classes of the Second Empire.

The Moulin Rouge is a French Cabaret that opened in Paris in 1889. We stop 5 minutes here for some nice pictures by night. Located at the bottom of Montmartre hill, the Moulin Rouge offered over the years different kinds of shows. At first the Moulin Rouge was a music-hall where people discovered the dance Cancan. That dance was invented in England but they found it too “shocking” there but it was a huge success in France! The French Cancan is a dance for woman only about doing the split and showing of the lace of their dresses. The popularity of the Moulin Rouge came and went over the time but the place always stood for offering a great and glamorous show and atmosphere. The show they offer now is a beautiful dancing and singing show with shining costumes and stunning choreographies called “Féerie” (Fairy).
