Designed by the Gian Lorenzo Bernini and unveiled in 1667 in the Piazza della Minerva, adjacent to the church of Santa Maria sopra Minerva.
In the center of the piazza there is Fontana del Pantheon, surmounted by an Egyptian obelisk. The fountain was constructed in 1575, and the obelisk was added to it in 1711.
The Pantheon; a former Roman temple and since 609 a Catholic church (Basilica di Santa Maria ad Martyres or Basilica of St. Mary and the Martyrs). Earlier temple commissioned by Marcus Agrippa during the reign of Augustus and was rebuilt by the emperor Hadrian.

Designed in 1651 by Gian Lorenzo Bernini for Pope Innocent X whose family palace, the Palazzo Pamphili, faced onto the piazza as did the church of Sant'Agnese in Agone.
Located at the southern end of the Piazza Navona. It represents a Moor, standing in a conch shell, wrestling with a dolphin, surrounded by four Tritons. It is placed in a basin of rose-colored marble.
