Dolphin Watching From Sagres – The most observed species of small cetaceans are the Common Dolphin (Delphinus delphis), the Roaz Dolphin (Tursiops truncatus) and the Boto (Phocoena phocoena) for most of the year. There are other possible species of sightings such as the Risso Dolphin (Grampus griseus), the Streaked Dolphin (Stenella coeruleoalba) and the Orca (Orcinus orca).
Occasionally we can observe whales on their migratory route where the most frequent species and whose sightings in 2012 increased were the Baldene Whale (Balaenoptera acutorostrata) and the Common Whale (Balaenoptera physalus).
Note:
All our activities are suitable for the whole family. However, this specific Dolphin Watching activity is not suitable for children under 2 years of age, pregnant women and people with bone problems, spine or recent surgery.
We are at your entire disposal in order to provide you with a journey in comfort and safety. For your comfort, we recommend warm clothing even in the summer season and bringing a bottle of water.
