After a drive to the German border we reach the Eifel mountain region with its the beautiful landscape and make a first stop at historic Monschau, the “Pearl of the Eifel”. Our guide takes you on a (very) easy walk along the picturesque river bank from where most of the main sights can be enjoyed. Close-by are also remains of the German defenses at the Western front of 1945. We drive to Cologne. After lunch we start our walk at the Neumarkt in the heart of the old city.
