More to know about White temple
Wat Rong Khun, better known as the White Temple, is one of the most recognizable temples in Thailand. The temple outside the town of Chiang Rai attracts both Thai and foreign visitors with its extraordinary design. The temple is actually a private art project by Chalermchai Kositpipat, a local artist who has been working on the temple since 1997. The exterior of the temple is all white, with intricate decor and statues. Inside, the temple is equally impressive, with beautiful murals and sculptures.
