The Royal Palace of Brussels is the official palace of the King and Queen of the Belgians in the center of the nation's capital city. It is used for state occasions and royal receptions. The palace is located in the historic center of Brussels, on the famous Place des Palais / Paleizenplein. It was built between 1820 and 1873 in a neoclassical style, with a facing of white stone from the town of Tournai.
