Pont Neuf is a famous and historic bridge in Paris, France that spans the Seine River. Despite its name, which translates to “New Bridge,” it is actually the oldest standing bridge in Paris, having been completed in 1607 during the reign of King Henry IV. The bridge consists of two levels, with the lower level being composed of arches and the upper level consisting of a paved roadway and sidewalks. It is approximately 238 meters long and 20 meters wide.
