Kleifarvatn Lake, situated in Iceland’s picturesque Reykjanes Peninsula, is the largest lake on the south-west coast of the island. Approximately 8km long and 2km wide, Kleifarvatn rests in an area known for its geothermal activity; a vast array of spectacular steaming vents, bubbling mud pools and thermal hot springs line its environs.
