More to know about Guadalmina River
The Guadalmina River begins near Igualeja, in the Sierra Bermeja of the Serrania de Ronda and flows into the sea 28km later at Guadalmina Beach in San Pedro de Alcántara, Málaga. The section of the river from Igualeja to its confluence with the Genal River has been declared a Natural Site since 1995, and is one of the few remaining habitats in the province of Málaga where the European dipper (Cinclus cinclus) still breeds.
