6 Days Amazon Jungle Adventure Tour from Manaus
Deep in the Amazon, where rivers meet the wild and the jungle tells its own story.
This Amazon jungle survival tour takes travelers well beyond the reach of comfortable lodges and tourist trails, deep into one of the most biodiverse ecosystems on the planet. Starting from Manaus, the journey unfolds over six days of paddling, camping, and learning to read the rainforest on its own terms. It is a genuine wilderness experience designed for those who want more than a scenic boat ride.
From the famous Meeting of the Waters near Manaus to remote riverside dwellings and multi-day jungle camps, each stage of this tour builds on the last. Guides introduce basic jungle survival skills on Day 2, and by Days 3 through 5, travelers are camping deep in the forest, cooking over open fires, and navigating by paddle canoe rather than motor. The rhythm of the Amazon sets the pace.
Nights in the jungle are spent in hammocks, with the sounds of nocturnal wildlife replacing any city noise. Alligator spotting by night, sunrise departures on the river, and encounters with local caboclo communities round out an itinerary that is as culturally rich as it is physically engaging. On Day 5, the group returns to the lodge for a well-earned survivors cocktail before a final comfortable night in a bed.
