The route includes several rappels, typically between 4 and 16 meters, and to add even more fun there is also the option of a zipline.   • Drive to the canyon start: Follow the guide in your own car for about 5 to 10 minutes to the starting point near Cascata do Salto do Cabrito.
  • Gear up and safety briefing: Equipment distribution and essential instructions with certified guides.
  • Approach walk: Approximately 30 minutes walking to the canyon entrance.
  • Canyon descent: Waterfall rappels (generally 4 to 16 meters), with an optional zipline, and an optional jump of around 3 meters if conditions allow.
  • Finish: End back at Cascata do Salto do Cabrito. If you booked transfer, return drop-off is at or near your accommodation in Ponta Delgada.

Transfer, optional: Pick-up and drop-off can be booked subject to availability. Pick-up is at or close to your accommodation in Ponta Delgada, and drop-off returns to the same place. Approximate pick-up times are 8:50 to 9:10 (low season) and 8:20 to 8:40 (high season). For other areas, you must contact the operator.
