This full day adventure lasts 7.5 hours and departs from Ponta Delgada, São Miguel Island, in the Azores. It suits travellers aged 4 to 99, with a maximum group size of 30. Guidance is available in English and Portuguese, both in person. Large people may not fit in the buggy, though a transfer to a quad or jeep can be arranged if needed. Drivers must present a valid driving licence for Portugal and sign a liability statement before the tour, and a safety deposit per vehicle is required on a credit or debit card. Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours before the start; after that period no refunds are given. No refund applies if you arrive more than 15 minutes late, do not present a valid driving licence or credit card for the deposit, decide to cancel due to lack of experience with the vehicle, or give up once the tour has started. Bring comfortable clothes, a rain jacket or warm jacket in winter, sunglasses and gloves; closed shoes are recommended. Routes and stops may change due to operational or weather conditions.
