Your private driver collects you from your Cape Town accommodation and heads first to Bo-Kaap, the neighbourhood known for its vibrantly painted homes and cobblestone streets. The area has a long multicultural history, with the majority of residents descended from enslaved people brought to the Cape by the Dutch in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries from Africa, Indonesia, Malaysia, and broader Asia.

A brief stop at Grand Parade, Cape Town's main public square and the site of the original Dutch fort built in 1652. The square holds historical significance as the location where Nelson Mandela delivered his first public address after his release from prison in 1990.

The tour continues to Cheetah Outreach, a dedicated conservation facility in Firgrove where expert staff share insights into the challenges cheetahs face in their natural habitats. Visitors learn about rehabilitation programmes, conservation campaigns, and how the facility contributes to the long-term survival of the species.

The group moves on to Stellenbosch, beginning at Rust en Vrede, an estate with a history dating to the late seventeenth century and a strong reputation for red wines including Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Merlot. The estate has earned numerous accolades and maintains a commitment to sustainable wine production.

The final estate visit is to Spier, where six wine ranges are offered including organic, vegan, and Cap Classique options. Tastings take place in the Tasting Room beside the estate dam or on the verandah, and food pairings including platters and chocolate are available to complement the experience.
