From the start, you will pedal across the bridge that separates Lagoa Azul and Lagoa Verde, then continue toward the Peninsula and the peaceful picnic area at Baía do Silêncio. You will return via dirt trails and tackle a long, steep climb on the main road, with the chance to stop at scenic viewpoints such as Lagoa de Santiago and Cerrado das Freiras.

At the Vista do Rei Viewpoint, take in a panoramic view over the lakes and spot the abandoned “Monte Palace” hotel. The ride then becomes more adventurous along Cumeeira Pequena on a gravel road, passing the Lomba do Vasco Viewpoint. The tour finishes with a descent back into the village, passing the Church of São Nicolau before returning to the starting point.
