Private Benagil Cave and Algarve Coast Boat Tour
Fifteen caves, fifteen beaches, and a wild stretch of coastline reserved entirely for you.
This private Benagil cave boat tour takes a small group — your group alone — along one of the most dramatic stretches of coastline in southern Portugal, combining sea-level exploration with a deep-sea dive stop and the rare chance to set foot on a beach accessible only by water.
The Algarve's limestone cliffs conceal a world that most visitors only glimpse from crowded vessels. Over two hours, you pass through sea tunnels, glide beneath natural arches, and enter caverns where light filters down through cathedral-like openings in the rock above.
Beyond the famous Benagil Cave, the route reaches less-visited formations including the Paradise Cave, the Turtle and Hippopotamus Cave, and the Blue Eyes Tunnel. The itinerary also covers fifteen of the region's most celebrated beaches, from Praia da Marinha to Praia do Carvalho, giving you a complete picture of the coastline at sea level.
Because this is a fully private tour, the pace and the stops adapt to your group. The captain's local knowledge shapes every decision, from where to anchor for the dive to which beach offers the best conditions for a landing on any given day.

Route Overview
The tour begins at Fisherman's Beach in Armação de Pêra. After a brief check-in with the crew, you board and head east along the cliffs toward the first beaches and rock formations.
The boat passes Beijinhos Beach, Tremoços Beach, Nossa Senhora da Rocha Beach, and Barranco Beach, tracing the cliff line at close range. Natural arches and small cave entrances mark this early stretch of the route.
Praia da Marinha and the surrounding beaches — Barranquinho, Malhada do Baraço, Albandeira, and Corredoura — form the central section of the journey. A deep-sea dive stop takes place here, and a wild beach landing may be arranged depending on conditions.
The route reaches the Benagil Cave, entering the cavern from the water to view the famous domed ceiling and the small beach within. Nearby, the Turtle and Hippopotamus Cave and the Blue Eyes Tunnel extend the cave exploration further.
Passing the Alfanzina Lighthouse, the boat turns back toward Armação de Pêra, completing the circuit and returning to Fisherman's Beach.
