This full-day tour lasts 7 hours and departs from Ponta Delgada, São Miguel Island, Azores. The minimum age to take part is 7, and the activity is not wheelchair accessible and not recommended for travellers with back problems. A valid driver's license is mandatory for the driver, and a minimum of 2 adults per vehicle applies. Drivers should ideally know how to handle a quad, ATV or similar vehicle such as a motorcycle, and participants should be in good to moderate physical condition, as this is considered a risky activity. Bring warm clothing and a waterproof jacket; gloves and rain coats are not included. Cancellations at least 24 hours before the start receive a full refund or credit, and the operator also offers a full refund if the activity is cancelled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. No-shows, drivers without a valid physical license, or arrivals more than 15 minutes late are charged at full rate. The included insurance covers personal accidents and third-party accidents only; any damage caused to the vehicle by the driver is the driver's responsibility.
