A full wash-down station, drying area, and secure equipment storage are available on site between dives.
Equipment rental is available for those who prefer to travel light, and every dive includes a qualified dive guide, cylinder, weights, and activity insurance. The centre operates year-round, adjusting departure schedules seasonally to match Atlantic conditions.

How Each Dive Session Works

Arrival and Briefing
Divers gather at the centre ahead of the scheduled departure. The dive guide conducts a thorough briefing covering the planned site, conditions, and safety procedures.

Boat Departure to Dive Site
The group boards the dive boat and heads to one of the selected spots along the south coast of São Miguel. Site selection is guided by conditions and diver experience.

Guided Dive
Divers descend with the guide to explore volcanic formations, marine life, and Atlantic underwater scenery. Each dive typically lasts around 45 to 60 minutes depending on depth and air consumption.

Surface and Return
After surfacing and safety stops, the group returns to the boat and heads back to the centre. A de-briefing session follows on arrival.

Equipment Wash and Storage
Divers use the on-site wash-down station to rinse and dry gear. Secure storage is available between sessions for those diving multiple days.
