The activity is suitable for anyone who can swim and wants a first look at what lies beneath the surface of the Atlantic Ocean. Instructors cover the basics of freediving breath control, equipment use, and swimming technique before entering the water.

How It Works
The session begins on land or aboard the boat with a safety briefing. Participants are fitted with masks, fins, and snorkels and introduced to the gear.
The instructor explains basic breath-hold concepts, equalization techniques, and safe snorkeling practices. This theoretical portion prepares participants for the open-water session.
Participants board the boat and travel to the snorkeling area near the Ilheu de Vila Franca do Campo. The crossing provides views of the islet and its surroundings.
Participants enter the water under supervision and explore the marine reserve at their own pace. The area around the sunken 16th-century cannons is part of the route.
After the water session, participants return to the boat and head back to the starting point. The instructor is available for questions and feedback.
