Itinerary
The day begins with pick-up from your hotel or a designated meeting point in the Ponta Delgada area, before heading out by jeep toward the Sete Cidades crater. The route passes the Sete Cidades village and the Pico do Carvão viewpoint, taking in the Santiago lake viewpoint, the Canário lake area and the Empadadas lake area along the way. Your guide drives the Cumeeiras dirt road on the rim of the caldeira, sharing local insight and pointing out the best views as you go. After lunch, the second half of the day shifts to the water, with a kayak trip on the Sete Cidades lakes rounding out the 7 hour experience before the return drop-off.

Lunch, a driver and guide, pick-up and drop-off from your hotel or a designated meeting point, and small group travel are included.
