Route Overview
The tour begins at the Fishermen's Beach in Armação de Pêra, where your skipper and guide will greet you and conduct the pre-departure briefing. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before scheduled departure.
The first section of the route passes beaches including Beijinhos, Tremoços, and Cova Redonda, before reaching the striking cliffs of Nossa Senhora da Rocha. The Yellow Submarine formation and Albandeira Cave are among the standout geological features along this stretch.
The boat navigates through the Natural Arch of Albandeira, a remarkable sea-level passage carved into the cliffs. Captain's Cave follows shortly after, offering a dramatic interior space for photography.
Praia da Marinha is widely considered one of Portugal's most beautiful beaches, and the tour passes directly in front of its layered rock formations. The Heart of Marinha, a naturally shaped rock pool visible from the water, is a popular photography subject.
The tour culminates at Benagil Cave, where the boat enters the cathedral-like interior illuminated by natural light from the oculus above. Guests may stop for photos and take in the views; disembarkation inside the cave is not permitted under current regulations.
After the cave visit, the boat returns along the coast to Armação de Pêra Fishermen's Beach, completing the one-hour circuit.
