Day-by-Day Itinerary
Pickup from your Marrakech hotel marks the start of the journey south through the High Atlas Mountains, cresting the Tizi n'Tichka pass at 2,260 meters. A scenic stop at a Berber village along the way offers time for photographs before descending to the Ounila Valley.
The itinerary includes a two-hour guided visit to Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, the UNESCO-recognized fortified village that has served as a backdrop for numerous international film productions. The route then passes through the palm oasis of Skoura before arriving at Dades Valley for dinner and an overnight stay at a 3-star hotel.
After a Berber breakfast, the tour follows the Boumalne riverbanks through a landscape of ochre and red rock formations dotted with ksour and grazing dromedaries. The route climbs to Tinghir at 1,350 meters, gateway to the spectacular Todra Gorges, where sheer canyon walls rise dramatically on either side of the riverbed.
