Itinerary Overview
Arrive in Marrakech and settle into your hotel with a welcome mint tea. On Day 2, visit Badii Palace, Bahia Palace, Madrasa Ben Youssef, Djemaa El Fna, Koutoubia Mosque, and both Majorelle and Menara Gardens.
Drive through the High Atlas Mountains to Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah, then continue through the Rose Valley and the Road of the Kasbahs to Dades Gorges. Lunch is taken in Aït Ben Haddou or Ouarzazate.
Visit the towering limestone canyons of Todra Gorges before driving to Merzouga. Two hours before sunset, embark on a camel trek into the dunes and spend the night at a desert camp with traditional music and dinner.
Wake at dawn for the sunrise over the dunes, then travel through the Middle Atlas to Fes with stops in the Ziz Valley and Ifrane. On Day 6, tour Fes' medina and Jewish Quarter before heading to the blue city of Chefchaouen for the evening.
