Spab departs from the conventional self-service spa model by transforming each space into an active, guided sensory environment. Skilled Sauna and Hammam Masters from AssoSauna lead guests through a sequence of rituals that address both physical recovery and mental restoration, drawing on traditions acknowledged by UNESCO for their cultural depth.
The setting itself is part of the experience. Ancient laundries, a panoramic outdoor hydro-massage pool, a Barolo Sauna warmed by a wood stove, and a serene Yurt relaxation area are woven together across a landscape of rolling vineyard hills. The result is a wellness itinerary that feels rooted in place rather than generic.
Wine is present not as a novelty but as a cultural thread. Historical wine tubs, wine bench tastings, and a signature chocolate and sparkling wine scrub reflect the agricultural identity of the Langhe in a way that is both thoughtful and distinctive.

What to Expect
Guests are received with a pampering cervical area treatment before being oriented through the Spab facilities. The welcome sets the tone for an experience grounded in care and local hospitality.
The circuit moves through the Large Countryside Sauna infused with Langa herbs, the Barolo Sauna with its wood stove, and the Crutin Hammam for a savonage deep-cleansing session. A Kneipp method tempering reaction and natural cryotherapy in historical tubs complete the thermal sequence.
Guided sessions include chakra activation with hot stones, light legs ritual, facial hydration masks, and a chocolate and sparkling wine scrub in the Turkish bath. Guests also experience a sensory tasting session in the hydro-massage area, with an alcohol-free drink provided for guests aged 16 to 17.
A guided meditation in the relaxation area leads into a sound bath with gong and Tibetan bells inside the Yurt. This closing phase is designed to consolidate the physical and mental benefits of the preceding rituals.
The foot bath on the Wine Benches and the panoramic outdoor hydro-massage pool offer a final moment of leisure. Guests may visit the Pool Bar, the Lounge Bar, or the Producers Wall to extend their experience at their own pace.
