FlyOver Iceland and Golden Circle Tour
Iceland's legendary landscape, experienced from the ground and from the sky.
The Golden Circle and FlyOver Iceland tour brings together Iceland's most celebrated natural landmarks and a cutting-edge simulated flight experience into a single, well-paced day. From tectonic fault lines to geothermal geysers and a volcanic crater lake, the landscape encountered on this tour speaks directly to the geological forces that have shaped this island over millennia. The day concludes at the old harbour in Reykjavik, where state-of-the-art ride technology lets visitors soar over the country's most spectacular scenery.
Expert guides lead the journey through Thingvellir National Park, the Geysir geothermal area, Gullfoss waterfall and Kerid volcanic crater, sharing the Viking history, folklore and geological context that bring each location to life. The route is designed to make the most of available time without sacrificing depth at any single stop.
FlyOver Iceland, located at the old harbour of Reykjavik, uses suspended-seat ride technology and immersive projection to replicate the sensation of flight over Iceland's highlands, glaciers, coastlines and hidden valleys. The combination creates a rare opportunity to experience the country at two very different scales in one outing.
This tour suits travellers who have limited time in Iceland and want a structured overview of the country's most iconic sites, as well as those looking for inspiration before planning deeper independent exploration.

Experience FlyOver Iceland's simulated flight ride at the old harbour, soaring over the country's most remote and spectacular landscapes.
Guided commentary throughout the day covers Viking history, Icelandic folklore and the geological forces that continue to shape the island.
Itinerary
Guests are collected from their accommodation or designated bus stops in central Reykjavik. All buses then meet at Kringlan before the tour departs together.
The first main stop is Kerid, a striking crater lake formed more than 6,000 years ago when a magma chamber collapsed at the end of a volcanic eruption. The milky blue-green water sits in stark contrast to the black and deep red volcanic slopes surrounding it.
At the Geysir geothermal area, guests observe the Strokkur hot spring erupting every eight minutes, projecting steaming water up to 30 meters high. Time is also available here to purchase lunch.
A short drive from Geysir leads to Gullfoss, where the glacial river Hvita descends in two powerful steps into a 32-meter-deep canyon. The waterfall is one of Iceland's most visited natural features and remains genuinely impressive at close range.
Thingvellir sits at the visible boundary between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates and has served as the site of Iceland's national parliament since the year 930. The park was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2004 for its outstanding cultural and geological significance.
After the Golden Circle, guests are transported to the old harbour area of Reykjavik for the FlyOver Iceland experience. The simulated flight ride uses the latest projection and motion technology to guide visitors over Iceland's most spectacular and remote landscapes.
