- 1Thingvellir National Park After picking you up from your preferred location in Reykjavik, we make our way to Thingvellir National Park where Iceland’s first parliament was established and is nowadays identified as a UNESCO World Heritage Park. You’ll get the chance wander around and explore the surrounding area at your own pace and see the fissure dividing the Eurasian and North American continental plates that can be found in the park as well.
