After breakfast, a guide leads a three-hour walking tour of Mindelo's historic center, visiting Torre de Belem, the Municipal Market, the Cesaria Evora exposition, and the Centro Cultural. The afternoon is free for independent exploration, local dining, and experiencing the rhythm of the city firsthand.
An early morning ferry crosses to Porto Novo on Santo Antao, where a full-day tour follows the mountain road to the Cova volcano crater, continues through Delgadinho and Ribeira Grande, and descends to the clifftop village of Fontainhas and the fertile Vale do Paúl. Drinks are not included at lunch; the afternoon ferry returns you to Mindelo by early evening.
The day begins at the panoramic Fortim viewpoint, followed by a drive along Avenida Marginal to the Municipal Market, Torre de Belem, and the fish market.
