4-Day Golden Circle, South Coast & Snaefellsnes Peninsula Tour
Glaciers, geysers, black sand beaches, and volcanic coastlines across Iceland's most iconic routes
This 4-day Iceland small-group tour covers the country's most celebrated natural landmarks, from the geothermal wonders of the Golden Circle to the dramatic cliffs of the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. The itinerary is designed for travelers seeking genuine immersion in Iceland's landscapes without the scale of a large coach tour. Each day unfolds a distinct chapter of the island's extraordinary geology and scenery.
The South Coast section alone spans glacier lagoons, basalt sea stacks, and cascading waterfalls, offering a concentrated introduction to Iceland's coastal drama. The inclusion of Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach on Day 2 provides a rare encounter with floating icebergs in one of the country's most visually striking settings.
Day 4 shifts the focus westward to the Snaefellsnes Peninsula, a region that inspired Jules Verne and remains one of Iceland's least crowded major destinations. Kirkjufell mountain, Djupalonssandur black sand beach, and the Snaefellsjokull glacier form a compelling final chapter to this varied itinerary.
