Day-by-Day Itinerary
Begin at Thingvellir National Park, where the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates meet. Continue to the Geysir geothermal area and Gullfoss waterfall before heading to the South Coast to walk behind Seljalandsfoss. The day ends near the village of Vik.
Travel further along the South Coast to Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon and adjacent Diamond Beach, where icebergs wash ashore. An optional Crystal Ice Cave excursion can be added to the day. Return via Vik for dinner or rest at the hotel.
