Reykjavik Imagine Peace Tower Tour
A guided island walk combining art, history, and the iconic light installation on Videy Island.
The Imagine Peace Tower tour takes you on a two-hour guided walking experience to Videy Island, where you will discover one of the world's most distinctive art installations and the peaceful landscape that surrounds it.
Led by an experienced naturalist, this tour covers the island's trading history, its oldest stone buildings, and the natural environment that frames everything you see. Every visit is shaped by Iceland's unpredictable weather, which directly affects the tower's light display.
The ferry departs from Reykjavik's Old Harbour, placing you just minutes from the island. On clear nights, there is also a chance to witness the northern lights above the Reykjavik skyline on your return.
The tour ends with hot chocolate and a traditional Icelandic kleina at Videy House, giving you a moment to reflect before heading back to the mainland.
