        Itinerary

        The day begins with departure from Ponta Delgada on São Miguel Island. From there the route moves through Cerâmica Vieira in Lagoa, then on to Miradouro do Pisão and Vila Franca do Campo. The journey continues to Achada das Furnas and Salto do Cavalo, followed by Ribeira dos Caldeirões. Further stops include Miradouro da Ponta da Madrugada, Miradouro da Ponta do Arnel and Vila do Nordeste, before Miradouro da Baleia and the return to Ponta Delgada. Lunch is included during the day, and travellers should be ready for departure at 09:00.
