Itinerary
The day begins with a comfortable drive from Zurich toward the Bernese Oberland. The route takes you through the rolling Swiss countryside before the landscape opens into the dramatic alpine valleys of central Switzerland.

From the valley station at Nessental, the Triftbahn carries you up approximately 368 meters to the mountain station at Triftalp in a 10-minute ride. The cable car operates seasonally from late June to mid-October and carries up to eight passengers per trip.
From the upper cable car station, the trail leads through alpine terrain to the Trift Suspension Bridge. The round-trip hike takes approximately 4 to 5 hours and offers continuous views of glaciers, rocky ridgelines, and the glacial lake below the bridge.
