How the Experience Unfolds
Arrive at the meeting point in Funchal where your PADI-certified instructor will introduce the fundamental principles of scuba diving. You will learn key safety rules, breathing techniques, and the hand signals used underwater.
Your instructor will help you fit your wetsuit, buoyancy control device, regulator, and tank. Proper gear configuration is reviewed to ensure safety and comfort before entering the water.
In a controlled shallow-water environment, you will practice breathing through the regulator, clearing your mask, and basic buoyancy control. This stage builds confidence before the ocean dive.
