Itinerary
The day's route runs from Ponta Delgada through a sequence of stops across São Miguel's northeast. It passes Cerâmica Vieira in Lagoa, Miradouro do Pisão, Vila Franca do Campo, Achada das Furnas and Salto do Cavalo, then continues to Ribeira dos Caldeirões. From there the route reaches Miradouro da Ponta da Madrugada and Miradouro da Ponta do Arnel, continuing into Vila do Nordeste itself. The tour then calls at Miradouro da Baleia before returning to Ponta Delgada, giving travellers a full day of varied coastal and inland scenery. Travellers should be ready at the departure point for a 09:00 start.
