The group departs from the center of Madrid by coach with a professional guide. A brief stop is made at a La Mancha winery along the route, allowing time for coffee or a rest break before continuing to Cuenca.

Upon arriving in Cuenca, the coach follows the scenic route along the Hoz del Huécar gorge before dropping the group at the Barrio del Castillo viewpoint. From this elevated position, visitors take in a sweeping view of the city and its dramatic cliff-top setting.

A downhill walking tour leads through the historic medieval core, passing the most significant monuments and streets of the old city. The guide then leads an extended visit inside the Cathedral of Our Lady of Grace, where Romanesque origins meet Gothic innovation and Baroque additions across eight centuries of construction.

After the Cathedral, approximately one hour and forty-five minutes of free time allows visitors to find lunch independently and explore the surrounding streets or shops at their own pace. The group reconvenes at the Cathedral entrance.

The guide leads the group inside the Hanging Houses, where the Museum of Abstract Art presents an important collection of paintings and sculptures by Spanish abstract artists of the 1950s and 1960s. Works by Canogar, Feito, Millares, and others are on display in a setting that is itself architecturally remarkable.

The tour concludes with a crossing of the San Pablo Bridge, offering the classic photographic view of the Hanging Houses from across the gorge. The group visits the interior of the Convent of San Pablo before boarding the coach for the return journey to Madrid.
